About the role
Reporting to the CEO and having regular dealings with the Board and management team, the Director Finance and Business Services is responsible for all aspects of financial management, corporate planning, risk, procurement, property and fleet. The role works closely with other executives and provides strategic input and ensures that robust operational strategy; policies, systems and processes are implemented and sustained.
The Director Finance and Business Services will ensure the organisation is agile and well informed in order to respond to current and changing needs.
Candidates wishing to be considered would need to be CPA qualified with attributes including:
- demonstrated success at a senior level in all aspects of contemporary financial management in a large organisation and a sound appreciation of risk management requirements
- comprehensive knowledge of governance with demonstrated experience in government acquittal and compliance processes
- strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.
- effective people leadership skills including developing a high performing team, building capability, mentoring and coaching.
- skilled in providing timely, evidenced based and compelling advice to the Board, CEO and team members.
