We work across several service areas, including crisis and transitional accommodation, mental health support services, aged care and housing.  The Operations Team takes in the areas of Finance, HR & Compliance, Housing and Commercial Services.  The Operations Team supports program areas and staff to deliver services to clients.

About the role

The Finance Team encompasses all financial functions and is responsible for financial and management accounting and reporting for St Bartholomew’s House and associated entities. The team works closely with staff around the development and management of budgets, with clients around the payment of rent and ensures compliance with all statutory requirements.

We are currently seeking a qualified and highly experienced finance professional to join the team in the key role of Finance Manager. The role is responsible for managing a number of staff and as such should have high level expertise across accounts payable, receivable, payroll and financial and management accounting. You will be experienced in the management and development of a team and will have the ability to delegate and multitask to meet tight deadlines.

The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in the use of MYOB EXO or a similar integrated package and will have the capacity and drive to hit the ground running. You will be able to work independently and have the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across the organisation.

Under the management of the CFO you will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports and will be the first point of contact for staff with financial queries.  We are looking for an individual who embraces innovation and displays initiative. You will identify and implement process improvements and be a contributor to the development of financial policy and procedure.
