About the role
This is an exciting time for a senior/executive to join the Merri Health (Merri) team in a newly created role. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) who will be responsible for building Merri’s business and services through the establishment of commercial fee-for-service offerings. The role will identify and develop service opportunities through various potential funding sources, including the management and growth of our service streams under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
You will be responsible for:
•Developing a Divisional Strategy aligned to our new Merri 2018 Strategic Directions
•Identifying & Coordinating tender responses
•Developing robust partnerships with peer organisations
•Competing for new business in new/emerging markets
•Expanding current service provision
We are looking for someone with:
•Extensive experience in a similar senior/executive level position
•Proven track record in driving change for service improvement and innovation
•Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
•Strong analytical and financial management skills
•An aptitude for business process redesign
•Understanding of the current health and community reform environment
