About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO and working as part of a close knit executive team you will have the opportunity to contribute to drive social impact and the strategic direction of the organisation. Share your passion for building strong families and communities.
You will provide strategic management and leadership for a range of SCH programs and services including family violence, drug and alcohol, generalist and financial counselling, integrated family services, child development and family day care services.
Embracing the Purpose and Values of SCH, the General Manager will support, mentor and develop a highly committed and talented team of unit managers to drive service excellence and innovation. The GM will also take the lead in building strategic partnerships and developing new service models.
You will have previous experience in the community services, early childhood education, paediatric allied health, counselling or family services sectors with a passion for providing quality service for the community. You will demonstrate first rate people management skills with an ability to lead and inspire your team. You will have experience in program/service planning and a proven track record in driving continuous quality improvement. You will have high level analytical skills with an ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
