Due to this unprecedented growth and their exciting future they have created a leadership opportunity for a National Manager, Community Development to join their Leadership team and be part of this fantastic success story.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive, Housing you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Regional Community Development Officers in the successful delivery of the “on the ground” community development initiatives within the organisations housing communities.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years, relevant experience in the design and delivery of community development initiatives, preferably within a social housing content with a demonstrated knowledge of social housing systems and policy and the ability and proven experience to identify partnership opportunities between Not for Profits, the private sector and Government.  

In addition, you will have a demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects within tight timeframes based on effective change management with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at senior level, with a clear understanding of Government requirements and decision-making processes in relation to community development.

The successful candidate will be a results focused and passionate professional who has the capability to lead and grow the community development team initially across metro and regional communities in NSW, Tasmania and Queensland on this exciting journey to achieve the strategic goals of the organisation in line with their values, mission and purpose.
