We advocate for change to make sure people can access the best possible care and information when they need it. We provide a wide range of services and assistance for people with mental health issues, disabilities, youth and older Australians and those requiring community care.

The Family Services Program will work with family members and informal carers to address key development areas that support the long term needs of both themselves and the person they care for. A key outcome will be to assist family members and carers of a person who is eligible for NDIS supports, to access the NDIS. This involves supporting the family and carers to recognize their own experiences and feel ownership of their journey, whilst providing appropriate and intentional support to the person being cared for. The Family Service delivery model offers face to face support for carers, advocacy for the individual or the family, peer facilitated education, supporting specialist linkages with other services, coping strategies for carers and families, volunteer support networks and support with transition to NDIS services.
