About the role

Working with a highly committed and supportive team positioned for long term growth, the role will take on the responsibility of building lasting relationships with all Philanthropy constituents and partners. To achieve this, the role designs and implements program wide activities with a focus on strategic communication and engagement activities, as well as developing bespoke stewardship plans for individual donors. Leveraging high level interpersonal skills, the position will interact daily with a diverse range of Philanthropists, Bequestors, Major Donors, Trusts & Foundations, Partners in Conservation, Governors and Board Members. Maintaining the CRM is critical in this role to build up a knowledge base and identify trends and insights to further build relationships.

Skills, knowledge and experience

• A track record of designing & delivering a multi-faceted relationship management program designed to grow income.

• Verbal, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people.

• A track record of developing authentic relationships with decision-makers (e.g. donors & philanthropic organisations).

• Experience & the achievement of results in a development or similar environment, including fundraising & stakeholder engagement.

• Events & project management skills.

• An ability to work constructively in a team environment and work autonomously.

• Initiative, discretion, and an ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Competence in MS Office (Word, Excel), CRMs.

Ideally you will have interest in of environmental conservation and sustainable development issues and the fundraising/philanthropy market. WWF values diversity and is building a workforce that reflects the community we serve.
