About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career in a not for profit setting.

We are currently seeking a qualified and highly experienced finance professional to join the team in the key role of Finance Manager. The role is responsible for managing a small team of accounts staff, and as such should have high level expertise across accounts payable, receivable, payroll, business analysis, financial and management accounting. You will be experienced in the disability and aged care sector, management and development of a team and will have the ability to delegate and multitask to meet tight deadlines.

The Finance Manager is responsible for financial and management accounting and reporting for BCD Community Care Incorporated. The position works closely with staff around the development and management of budgets and ensures compliance with all statutory requirements.

The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in the use of MYOB or a similar integrated package and will have the capacity and drive to hit the ground running. You will have experience in CRMs and be able to work independently, embrace innovation, possess strong initiative, and have a excellent ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across the organisation and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports and will be the first point of contact for staff with financial queries. We are looking for an individual who embraces innovation and displays initiative. You will identify and implement process improvements and be a contributor to the development of financial policies and procedures.
