About the role
WHV is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic woman to lead and coordinate WHV’s training program in gender equity, prevention of violence against women and women’s health. This role will include: designing and delivering training, forums and workshops in WHV’s priority areas; researching and developing information resources to support WHV’s objectives; and contributing to increased understanding of a feminist approach to health promotion both within and outside the organisation.
The successful candidate will have: relevant tertiary qualifications; demonstrated skills and experience in the design and delivery of training; demonstrated understanding of and ability to communicate feminism and gender issues; and high level interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
This role is a full-time fixed term maternity leave position for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Part-time and job share options will be considered.
