About the role

Together For Humanity Executive Assistant-Fundraising Administrator
Be part of an organisation that fosters intercultural understanding and goodwill between people with different faiths and beliefs.
Together for Humanity (TFH) is a dynamic, ground breaking not for profit organisation that is developing Australian School students’ intercultural understanding. TFH is also an inclusive multi-faith based organisation, whose members are predominantly Christian, Jewish and Muslim, but also includes those of other religions or none.

This role will support the National Director (ND) with communication and relationship management with donors, communities, the TFH board of directors and the TFH team. The person in this role will work side by side with the ND, assisting with project/task and grant management and other organisational matters. This role also involves leading behind the scenes fundraising efforts and events administration.

The role is based in our offices in Mascot, NSW. Onsite parking available.

Position Responsibilities:

Support National Director, often corresponding on behalf of ND, and arrange travel and accommodation for ND and other staff and volunteers.

Project/Task Management. Assist with tracking the ND’s and the organisations responsibilities and commitments, milestones in project plans and compliance.

Donor and database administration. Maintain and manage donor database to assist with donor engagement, and stewardship.

Events. Organise two annual fundraising events and smaller events throughout the year.

Fundraising. Assist with grant proposal submissions and reporting, as well as online fundraising campaigns and administration relating to bequests.

Communications/Social Media: Assist with implementation of a communications strategy, including social media.

Reporting: Assist with the writing of reports.

General Administrative Support. Manage our online filing system and office facilities/supplies. Assist with other administrative tasks.

Essential:
Experience (3 years +) as an executive assistant.
Ability to manage sensitive information in a professional manner
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills- working in a diverse team environment as well as independently.
Highly organised. High attention to detail.
Proficiency with office technology in particular Google drive Suite

Desirable:
Previous experience working in event management
Previous experience working in community fundraising.

Salary commensurate with experience.
