About the organisation
The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Foundation was founded in 1989 to raise funds for and on behalf of the hospital. Since its inception it has provided ongoing support of the RCH in its mission to be a world class paediatric hospital.
The RCH Foundation raises funds and supplies much needed resources for the hospital. Whilst a legally separate organisation, it works closely with the RCH in achieving its vision. The people of Victoria love the RCH and feel a great ownership best demonstrated through ongoing and generous giving to the Foundation, including fundraising appeals like the Good Friday Appeal and the RCH Auxiliaries in their community. The RCH Foundation acknowledges this strong ownership and takes its role seriously as custodian of these donated funds, for and on behalf of all donors and the future needs of the RCH.
The core purpose of the RCH Foundation is to raise philanthropic funds that contribute to resources for the RCH to provide excellent:
- Care of children requiring medical treatment
- Research into curative or preventative medicine
- Acquisition and development of the best medical talent, whether from Australia or overseas
About the role
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Auxiliaries Office within the RCH Foundation supports a robust network that has fundraised for the hospital since 1922.
In the role, the Auxiliaries Data Management Support will assist with database management, ensuring compliance through accurate recording and management of Auxiliaries Office records.
The role consists of six hour shifts, with up to three shifts per week. A minimum commitment of two weeks will be required.
