About the Role
Based in Subiaco we are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead and manage the Cancer Information and Support Services (CISS) division according to the strategic direction of the organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Office and working with internal and external key stakeholders you will be responsible for developing and implementing an operational plan for the CISS division.
Your other main responsibilities include:
*Planning, implementing and evaluating CISS programs and services
*Maintaining awareness of trends and issues in cancer control areas and ensure changes are made in
operational processes to reflect these
*Identify, assess and mitigate issues that may affect programs and services
*Establish and maintain internal and external key stakeholder relationships which support and
promote the organisations broad range of services
*Plan, manage, monitor and report on budget expenditure
*Provide leadership and support in developing and implementing a vision and strategic direction
plan to guide the organisation *Lead and manage the CISS division and ensure quality outcomes in
the areas of Cancer Information and Support Services
*Develop a workforce plan for the CISS division and ensure staffing requirements and performance
objectives are achieved.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:
*A tertiary qualification in a health or community services related profession or a minimum 5
years’ experience in a senior service/program delivery role.
*Understanding of the WA health service at a systems level is desirable
*High level strategic and leadership skills
*Proven organisational skills with strong attention to detail
*Advanced Microsoft Office skills
*Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
*Actively foster the development of a culture consistent with the values of Cancer Council WA
*Positive approach to the workplace
