About the role
Applications are currently being sought from suitably qualified persons who are committed to supporting a leader in family violence services through an active and engaged governance role.
Previous experience in governance (plus formal qualifications) are highly desirable as EDVOS continues to grow and renew. Although desirable previous experience in family violence services is not essential.
Meetings are currently held on the third Thursday bi-monthly (commencing January). Meetings are held in the evening. Members are also expected to contribute through membership of one of three Board Committees;
– Finance and Audit
– Governance
– Quality and Risk
Our particular focus is on recruiting suitably experienced directors who possess specific skills in any / some of the following key areas:
• Finance / Accounting
• Legal
• Risk and Quality
• Marketing and Communications
• Government / funder relations
