About the role

Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) within the Post Separation Services program is available as a full time or part time, ongoing position based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator, the FDRP role is expected to provide information and deliver education and mediation services to couples and families who are separating or who are separated.

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess a tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, law or social sciences, a Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution or equivalent (or the willingness to pursue this qualification under RACR funding), demonstrated experience working as a FDRP or other relevant experience, demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence, crisis intervention and models of grief and loss in the context of family separation and child development, complimented with exceptional interpersonal, communication, team work, planning and organising skills. Demonstrated experience with group work and knowledge of Family Law and Family Court procedures, family finances and community resources would be an added advantage.

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is in the range of $71,445.31 to $79,841.62 per annum plus superannuation for full time. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
