About the role
This Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced communications professional to join our Community Engagement team, which encompasses communications, marketing, volunteering, fundraising and stakeholder engagement.
The role is important and the work you perform will help us develop the foundations for the future, whilst meeting the immediate needs of the organization. A cultural fit is important and experience working in business and government sectors is desirable.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a track-record of success, be flexible and adaptable in their approach to the role, pay attention to detail, have a collegiate attitude to their peers, be capable of juggling multiple creative projects, and enjoy working with a broad range of people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Under the management of the General Manager, Community Engagement you will be responsible
for writing, editing and managing the development, implementation and publication of high quality strategic communication documents and materials. You will need to manage our donor database and have the ability to develop and implement donor communication strategies that foster trust and build engagement. Proven experience of fostering and managing successful relationships with corporate partners, supporters and sponsors is essential. Demonstrated experience of managing and implementing media/social media strategies, campaigns and action plans to raise profile and strengthen reputation is a must. Managing our website and our brand across multiple communication platforms and channels is an important part of the role as St Bart’s works to increase brand recognition. Event management and coordination in consultation with other internal and external stakeholders is also required.
