Looking for the next step in your fundraising career, or to make a move into the arts sector?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bell Shakespeare’s philanthropy team as our Annual Giving Manager. This role will work on the delivery of the Company’s philanthropy program, specifically annual giving campaigns, fundraising events, and Trusts & Foundations, as well as departmental analysis and reporting.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across all areas of the Company, including Marketing, Education, Finance and Production.
Key tasks include:
– Implementation of at least two fundraising campaigns per year, including End Of Financial Year
– Management of all philanthropic processes and reporting in Tessitura CRM database.
– Oversee design and marketing for philanthropy events and programs
– Stewardship of donors across Australia
– Lead in the planning and project management of the annual fundraising Gala
– Assist in the identification and cultivation of leads and prospects
– Application and acquittal of Trust and Foundation grants
Evening and weekend work will be required. Possibility of interstate travel.
This is a full-time, permanent position to commence late March.
Who you are:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of three years’ experience in a philanthropy or data/account management role, with superior communication, project management and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and have the ability to juggle multiple events, campaigns and projects at any one time.
You will be detail-oriented, with experience working in a database (preferably Tessitura).
Arts fundraising experience preferred, but the role would also suit an experienced CRM or Account Manager looking to move into the sector.
