About the role
Solid Ground is a major Aboriginal Arts initiative established in 2015 by Carriageworks and Blacktown Arts Centre that provides education and training pathways for Aboriginal young people into the arts and cultural industries. Solid Ground also supports the commissioning of new urban Aboriginal work across contemporary theatre, dance, visual arts and music that provide significant opportunities for young Aboriginal people to gain professional industry experience combined with on the job training.
The Education Project Officer will coordinate the Artist in Schools Residency Program and the Tertiary Skills-Based Training Program as part of the Solid Ground Initiative. The Education Project Officer will be responsible for engaging participants and stakeholders in this major strategic initiative.
