About the role

A Bit About the Job:

Reporting to the CEO, the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager will need to:

  • Develop, implement and maintain a detailed fundraising plan to grow and supplement current revenue streams
  • Implement and grow fundraising strategies across all areas of the business, from events to regular giving
  • Research and develop donor acquisition and retention strategies
  • Oversee event-based fundraising activities
  • Work alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop collateral for all fundraising activities and appeals
  • Manage day to day workload of the Fundraising Administrator and provide guidance regarding development and implementation of all fundraising related activities
  • Oversee management of community fundraising activities with assistance from the Fundraising Administrator
  • Seek funding through the submission of grant applications to various trusts and foundations
  • Build relationships with new corporate partners and maintain relationships with existing partners
  • Actively seek new sponsors to support events, initiatives and Variety operations
  • Manage and liaise with national and state-based partners/sponsors
  • Ensure effective and efficient implementation of all fundraising efforts
  • Utilise ThankQ CRM database for donor management and appeals
  • Take part in meetings of Variety’s National Fundraising Committee

 

A Bit About You:

Apart from having a proven track record within the NFP Fundraising sector (or a similar role in a commercial environment), you will be able to:

  • Build strategic partnerships Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal English
  • Organise and prioritise all fundraising related workload
  • Blow your KPIs out of the water and always exceed expectations
  • Demonstrate ambition and drive
