Leadership Role in the Aboriginal Art Sector
Arnhem Northern and Kimberley Artists (ANKA) Aboriginal Corporation is a not for profit Indigenous governed organisation that has been serving its membership for over 30 years.
ANKA is the peak advocacy and support agency for Indigenous artists working individually and through 47 Art Centres located in communities spread over one million square kilometres of country across the Kimberley, Arnhem Land, Tiwi Islands and Darwin/Katherine regions of North Australia.
ANKA supports more than 5000 artists, many of whom are internationally acclaimed and respected cultural leaders. ANKA works on behalf of its members to promote, resource, educate and protect the work of Indigenous artists and Art Centres.

About the Role
This role ensures the effective day-to-day delivery of core programs and leads the Resource and Development Team in providing high quality services to Aboriginal Art Centres, artists and art workers. The Program Manager will develop and deliver programs, activities and resources that meet the needs of ANKA’s stakeholders and help sustain and build a vibrant Aboriginal art industry.
A sound understanding of Aboriginal Art Centres and the Aboriginal art sector and commitment to Aboriginal self-determination are essential for the position.
This job suits a professional with excellent analytical and organisational skills and a strong passion and commitment to delivery of support to further the sustainability of Art Centres.
