The Brotherhood of St Laurence drives change that promotes a compassionate and fair society where everyone has a sense of belonging. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) roll-out is partnering with the Brotherhood of St Laurence to deliver Local Area Coordination (LAC) services in North East Melbourne Area, Hume Moreland and Bayside Peninsula. LAC is pivotal in the NDIS which provides planning coordination and capacity building support for people with disability to maximise their choice and control over the services they receive. This also supports people with disability to access mainstream services and to increase our community’s capacity to be accessible to the supportive of people with disability.
The Senior Manager LAC oversees the delivery of NDIS Local Area Coordination services in the Whittlesea area. This position will support the Area Manager in ensuring contractual and organizational KPIs are met (including client satisfaction), processes are implemented and continuously improved so that services are delivered to the required quality standard and that the LAC workforce is built and developed as a focused and highly effective team.
The Senior Manager LAC contributes to strengthening community, business and disability sector relationships and will contribute to the development of the Brotherhood’s understanding of and approach to ensuring that people with disability are including at all levels in an Australian society.
