The role is situated within the Corporate and Community Engagement team (CCE) of WaterAid Australia and reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy.
We are seeking a proactive and charismatic person with business acumen, who shares the objectives and values of WaterAid and has proven ability to work effectively with senior staff in Australia and overseas.
The role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing, managing and fostering relationships between WaterAid and its corporate partners. The role will focus on leveraging current relationships and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities to establish sustainable partnerships that create shared value.
Key responsibilities
- Generate corporate fundraising revenue to meet annual targets.
- Develop innovative strategies and partnership concepts to identify, solicit and steward a portfolio of corporate partners.
- Develop proposals, manage negotiations and contractual arrangements to meet corporate donors’ needs.
Person specification
The successful applicant will have at least 3 years’ successful experience developing corporate partnerships/sponsorships and managing accounts. Experience, knowledge and contacts from within the Water Sector in Australia will be considered a strong asset.
