This is an exceptional opportunity to join the international mission agency of the Catholic Church in Australia, which supports Church communities and people in need in Australia and overseas.
Reporting to the Diocesan Director, your primary responsibility is to substantially increase Catholic Mission’s total income from major donations and bequests in a manner consistent with our organisation’s values. You will work as part of a collegiate team of five people, and be involved in the work of all fundraising and education events, sports and community gala days, training sessions, coordinating celebrations for World Mission Day and much more.
This is a superb opportunity, for an ambitious fundraising professional at the trajectory of your career, to enjoy hands-on implementation of donor care activities and events, including stewardship of a portfolio of mid-level donors, prospects and fundraisers.
This important role requires at least 3-5 years of relationship-based fundraising experience and proven success in personally increasing major gift donations or bequests. Alternatively, you might even come from the commercial sector with comparable sales experience. The ability to communicate, influence and engage stakeholders towards a rewarding philanthropic path, in collaboration with an engaged team, will be highly valued.
