Role Specifics:
We are seeking a highly organised person with strong administration skills and an engaging telephone manner to support the National Events and National Bequests teams in the management, production and coordination of Bible Society Australia events across Australia.

You will perform vital administrative tasks to facilitate the planning, preparation and delivery of events, including managing calendars, bookings, venues, databases and mailing lists, tracking expenditure and providing on the ground support as required. The successful candidate will work alongside various internal teams as well as building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders. This includes liaison with external suppliers, as well as initiating communication with and coaching our volunteer fundraisers in the setup and use of our fundraising technology platform.

The role will be based in Sydney but will require travel, both regional and interstate.

Key Criteria:
• Outstanding organizational, project management and administrative skills
• Prior experience required (event assistance experience and/or strong administration experience)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with remote stakeholders or remote teams
• Team oriented – able to work confidently across portfolios and manage competing priorities
• Self-motivated and able to manage own workload with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
• Initiative
• Intermediate level of competency with technology
• Full Drivers License
