About the role
We are seeking a financial counsellor to fill a permanent 28 hour per week position. The position involves provision of face-to-face and telephone financial counselling, including at outreach locations in the region.

Essential Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
Accredited member status with the Financial Counsellor’s Association of NSW or equivalent;
Experience as a financial counsellor;
Demonstrated knowledge of financial counselling funding guidelines (State and Commonwealth);
Ability to travel in the region to deliver outreach services and education.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
Diploma in Financial Counselling.
