About the role
Part time and full time roles available (3-5 days per week)
PANDA’s Intensive Care Coordination Program provides targeted service coordination, telephone counselling and case management for families experiencing severe and complex perinatal mental illness. Perinatal anxiety and depression are common and serious mental health concerns. Left untreated, the impact can be devastating for parents, the infant and the family unit. This program supports parents experiencing significant mental health decline or psychosocial complexity that impacts on their capacity to care for themselves or their baby. Referrals are received directly from health professionals and via PANDA’s National Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Helpline.
Due to recent expansion, PANDA has vacancies for suitably qualified and experienced clinicians to join the team. This role would suit Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and similarly qualified professionals with experience in service coordination and a commitment to the emotional and mental wellbeing of expecting and new parents. If you’re seeking a role that helps reduce care fragmentation and promotes optimal outcomes for families, this could be the opportunity for you.
This program is based in North Fitzroy, Melbourne and operates during standard business hours (9.30am-5pm Monday – Friday). To be considered, you must have a relevant tertiary qualification and postgraduate experience. Recent training in ASIST, CRAF and trauma-informed care is desirable. A competitive salary package including tax-free benefits is available to successful candidates.
