About the Role
- 0.4 FTE, Two year contract
- Level 4.1 – 4.2 ($79,118 – $81,865 pro rata)
The Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) is looking to recruit a part-time Publications Editor to assist with VCOSS publications and ensure the continuous high standard of VCOSS online and hard-copy material.
The successful applicant will sit in the VCOSS Communications Team and report to the VCOSS Communications Manager.
You will possess a strong understanding of the different tones and writing styles required for different audiences and you will have strong attention to detail, excellent editing and copywriting skills. The main focus of the role will be editing, although article commissioning and original writing will also be required.
You will have highly developed interpersonal skills and the capacity to build positive relationships with a wide range of people and to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Salary and conditions of employment are governed by the VCOSS Enterprise Agreement 2014 and VCOSS policies and procedures.
