About the role
The position involves provision of face-to-face and telephone financial counselling (including outreach services), supervision of a small team of financial counsellors and database management for reporting to funding bodies.

Essential Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated excellent computer skills.
Accredited member status with the Financial Counsellor’s Association of NSW or equivalent.
Diploma of Financial Counselling.
At least 3 years experience as an accredited financial counsellor.
Ability to supervise financial counsellors and/or have completed the FCAN Supervision Course.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial counselling funding guidelines (State and Commonwealth).
Ability to travel in the region to deliver outreach services and education.
Desirable Selection Criteria
Experience working with Community Data Solutions (“CDS”) database.
