About the organisation
Mercy Connect Limited is a Catholic organisation sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy providing professional clinical and accommodation support services to people with intellectual and physical disabilities, acquired brain injury and psychiatric conditions. We are based in Thurgoona with branches in regional NSW and Victoria.
About the role
You are an experienced Disability Support Worker, team leader or key worker. You are fully aware of the opportunities and challenges that the NDIS will provide individuals and the community – in their local community.
You have been thinking about how you can continue in your chosen career but also are faced with the high cost of living in a major city. Your travel time is wearing you down as is the cost of housing, and impact on your personal and family life.
Have you thought about the opportunities that could exist in Albury Wodonga and surrounding areas? Housing is still affordable, you could even upgrade. Travel times are measures in minutes not hours. Local schooling, universities, recreation and sporting facilities abound.
Do you:
· Ski or enjoy the snow – less than an hour away in winter.
· Dream of paddling the Murray river or fishing in mountain streams?
· Enjoy music festivals?
Have you ever been to the Yackandandah festival or the many wineries and events in the Rutherglen or King Valley regions?
