Our client is one of the world’s oldest and largest children’s development organisations. Operating in over 40 developing countries, their Purpose is to help create a world that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.
In support of their valuable work, our client is seeking to develop and implement strategic and operational plans to achieve growth in the Major Gift portfolio. The Manager – Major Gifts & Philanthropy will work closely with the Fundraising Management Team to formulate and deliver this strategy; dovetailing with other existing and new Fundraising revenue streams.
About the role
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will relationship-manage a profitable and growing portfolio of major donors to meet agreed KPIs each year. You will bring a passionate approach and an ability to deliver grant match targets, match one-to-one projects with donors, create specific major donor funded projects, grow untied funding and promote other fundraising products such as Child Sponsorship.
This role requires a strong, innovative stakeholder manager with a successful track record cultivating relationships with high net worth individuals. You will have a strong, collaborative and creative approach, and the strategic acumen to work closely with the Board and Executive to implement a Board Engagement Framework. You will possess experience managing a small team, with the ability to inspire, influence and provide guidance.
