VicHealth works to build the right foundations for mental wellbeing – long before illness – in our homes, communities and workplaces.

Reporting to the Manager, Mental Wellbeing, the Senior Project Officer, Mental Wellbeing will contribute to coordinating the delivery and implementation of specific programs of work relating to improving Mental Wellbeing in the Victorian community.

Where a normal working day can include stakeholder management, policy analysis, development of specific projects, grant-making and contract management activities, you will be kept busy making a real difference to the health of all Victorians.

Tenure: Fixed Term (12 Months) Full Time
Classification: VicHealth Grade D
Remuneration: $79,769 (plus superannuation and other benefits)

Qualifications and experience required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Health Promotion, Project Management or related field
• Demonstrable experience working in fields related to health promotion policy and practice
• Impressive experience developing relationships both internally and externally
• Demonstrable experience in developing and managing projects
• Well-developed attention to detail
• Well established written and verbal communication skills.
