The CatholicCare NT Tiwi Islands offices provides individual, family and community counselling and group work services to the community in areas of alcohol and other drugs, suicide prevention, financial wellbeing and capability, family violence and safe house programs.

The Team Leader Tiwi Islands is responsible for providing leadership to an integrated suite of programs to support positive outcomes for the Tiwi Islands community in order for the programs to meet their objectives.
We are looking for a person with:
- Relevant qualification in human services and/or minimum five years experience in relevant program delivery and team leadership.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing, case note writing and the ability to communicate with all providers across a range of diverse cultural groups.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
- Previous experience living and working in a remote Indigenous community and an understanding of the challenges this may present.
- Experience in recording and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data in line with program requirements.
- Experience in providing supervision to multi-disciplined staff.
