About the role

The Melbourne School of Engineering (MSE) (which also includes the School of Computing and Information Systems) is on an exciting trajectory that will reshape UoM’s impact as an engineering school and Australia’s role in addressing the global challenges of today. MSE is seeking a new Associate Director, Development, who will help to enable this vision within the context of the School’s roadmap: MSE 2025, delivering an integrated Development strategy and program for the MSE, within the context of the broader Believe Campaign. The Associate Director will work with a personal portfolio of potential donors capable of making gifts of $1,000,000 or more to MSE priorities.

The Associate Director, Development, MSE will ideally have experience in campaign management and securing principal and major gifts over $500,000. S/he will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a complex environment. This involves partnering with senior academic leaders, industry and community champions and Advancement staff in ensuring a collaborative approach is maintained in executing the campaign plan.
