Branch Organiser

The NTEU Victorian Division is seeking applications for the full-time position of Branch Organiser Level 5. Working as part of the Union’s organising and industrial team, the position requires an enthusiastic person with a commitment to unionism, and experience in organising, recruitment, and campaigning, either in a trade union or in social justice organisations.

The successful candidate will initially be based at the Monash NTEU Branch, and will work at Monash University’s Clayton campus, as well as visits to its Caulfield, City, Parkville and other campuses, and the Union’s South Melbourne office. Regular travel will be required. You will be assigned a mix of duties, including, as part of a team, taking responsibility for the completion of organising, campaign, and administrative tasks or projects at the Branch level and state-wide. You may be allocated to other NTEU branches in Victoria from time to time.

This position is available immediately and is ongoing. It will be filled at NTEU Level 5 (remunerated within $80,373- $86,897), plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
