About the role

The Role
Working in a collaborative global team you will be a motivated self-starter with the confidence to develop rapport across a full spectrum of external stakeholders within a portfolio of top-tier corporate clients in Victoria.  This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with CFOs of Australia’s most recognised organisations and brands.  You will position CPA Australia as the preferred accounting designation amongst C-level executives, graduates and HR professionals by executing CPA Australia’s business development strategy.

Your key objective is to recruit new members and increase CPA Program enrolments at target organisations, as well as tailor professional development solutions.  You will achieve this by identifying decision makers, presenting compelling business cases and building sustainable relationships based upon trust and worlds best member service. 

Skills and Experience
This is a challenging and exciting role that will give you the opportunity to have a real impact on people’s careers and futures within the accounting profession.  The role will operate in a highly autonomous fashion and as such you will need to be energetic, driven and focussed. To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven track record in B2B solution selling ideally within a professional services or equivalent environment
  • Mature professional who thinks strategically
  • Knowledge of the Accountancy profession will be beneficial
  • Ability to work well within a team and also independently to achieve agreed outcomes
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starter
  • Proven ability to use influence and persuasion to achieve desired outcomes
  • Professionally presented, confident, positive and constructive in manner and approach
