The Business Partners Manager – Southern Region is responsible for identifying, developing and securing strategic, creative and high-value partnerships with corporations and agreed SMEs across the assigned region. You will lead the prospecting and pitching process with a focus on increasing net income and yield for Leukaemia Foundation. 

You’ll have freedom to deliver quality pitches using your judgement and a network of expertise, together with an enabling manager and talented colleagues to support you to give your best.

Snapshot of key responsibilities

  • To set the strategic acquisition direction to attract, retain and grow support from business partners in the Southern Region
  • Conceptualise and deliver a range of creative marketing-led campaigns with major corporations that embody the values and brand essence of the Leukaemia Foundation
  • Personally manage a pipeline of business partners and income targets that comply with budgetary target

  • Work within the organisational strategy and approach to increase engagement and measurable income and pro-bono support with business partners

  •  Work closely with the other areas of the organisation to identify funding opportunities for increased business partner support

Selection Criteria

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in securing, managing and growing significant national business relationships for an NFP or closely related industry

  • Demonstrated experience in, major national corporations or NGOs in either a CSR, fundraising, or sales role

  • Proven experience in continually meeting significant personal sales targets in an NFP environment or closely related industry

  • Demonstrable experience developing and implementing a successful business partner acquisition strategy

  • Demonstrated relationship focus and ability to deliver bottom line results

  • Significant demonstrated experience in corporate partnership packaging, cause-related marketing and corporate social responsibility

Highly desirable

  • Experience working within a CRM to manage pipeline

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related field

  • Advanced strategic planning skills and attention to detail

  • Highly developed networking skills and ability to liaise with/present to Boards and individuals

  • Demonstrate FIA Code of Conduct/Standards

  • Knowledge of the charity health environment
