About the Role

This part time role  of as either an employee or contractor is a transition for the organisation and; to ensure it is effective, it must work seamlessly with the CEO and Board. The hours and days of work will be based around Board and Board Committee activities and will be negotiated with the applicant. 

The tasks of the company secretary can be categorised into meetings and minutes, compliance, and governance administration.

The successful candidate must evidence similar experience at a level for ensuring the organisation conforms to their statutory obligations; have followed best practice standards of corporate governance practice, and delivered timely and efficient administration of Board affairs.

Your career will include experience in the design and support of Board and Director development programs.

You will be self-assured, unflappable, adaptable, able to deliver to deadlines and that support the office of the CEO. Equally you will be able to demonstrate a balance of intellect, a hands-on approach, and excellent rapport building and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications from the Governance Institute of Australia, and Australian Institute of Company Directors will set you apart.
