About the role

The Education Partnerships Manager is responsible for business development and sales of The Song Room’s fee for service education products and partnerships.
Reporting to the Director of Market Development, this position has lead responsibility for implementing a sales strategy for fee for service programs, securing sales of fee for service products and bulk subscriptions to ARTS:LIVE across all markets and modules and the management of renewals for Bulk Subscriptions clients.

Key areas of responsibility include business development, securing corporate and education partnerships and building strong relationships.

Required Skills and Experience
This is a wide-ranging, exciting and challenging role. The successful candidate will have:
• Demonstrated success, experience and in-depth knowledge in business development, sales and negotiation techniques
• Demonstrated ability to identify new sales opportunities and pitch products and services
• Exceptional relationship building, influencing and partnership engagement skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver sales growth strategies
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Experience in the education sector is preferred
• An ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• ‘Can do ‘ attitude

Qualifications:
• Relevant tertiary study
