The main office is located in Sale, but services are provided across the Gippsland region; and applicants who live in Drouin, Warragul, Moe, Morwell, Traralgon Bairnsdale and surrounds, are encouraged to apply, as we have locations throughout the area.

We are currently seeking a part time Family Counsellor to join our Family and Relationship, Parenting Orders Program team, and work in the region of Sale Victoria. As a qualified Counsellor you will provide counselling, referral, resourcing, for families, parents and young people to support families in their parenting capacity.

Applicants will need:
Demonstrate a commitment and approach to making a difference, and work in partnership with clients, have excellent communication decision making, advocacy and negotiation skills, strong problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously. Applicants should also have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a team environment. A sound knowledge of computer based software applications including Word/Excel/database management systems is also required.

This role will involve some travel time, with working hours across both day and evening sessions.
