In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, engaging and supporting a network of community based organisations supporting older Australians (initially) and other groups to build their digital confidence and skills. Managing a small team of Network and Grant Co-ordinators, you will also be directly accountable for the delivery of the organisation’s $20m Be Connected Network Grants Program. In addition, given the age and stage of evolution of the organisation, you will be committed to contributing to organisational leadership, strategy, operations and culture.
You will have solid knowledge of the Australian for-purpose sector and ideally, grant making experience as well as management experience in a community based setting. You will have a genuine passion for the role of social innovation / digital technology in delivering social change. You will be a strategic thinker capable of turning thinking into realistic plans and workflows, and managing implementation and support. You will be an effective and practical problem-solver and proactive and flexible in your approach, doing whatever is needed to get the job done. You will have proven experience successfully managing teams to achieve challenging delivery objectives within budget and on time. You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline.
