The National Disability Insurance Scheme has engaged Early Childhood (ECEI) Partners around Australia to deliver the ECEI approach, with the Brotherhood of St Laurence being the NDIS Partner for the North East Melbourne area, Hume Moreland area and Bayside Peninsula area.

About the role

  • Lead a team using the early childhood early intervention approach
  • Ongoing positions available in Hume Moreland (1 position) and North East Melbourne Area (1 position)
  • $80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, plus allowance in lieu of vehicle (attractive salary packaging options available)

The ECEI approach supports children aged 0-6 years who have a developmental delay or disability and their families/carers. Supporting families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their life is a fundamental part of the ECEI approach.

The Brotherhood are seeking passionate and engaging individuals from the following disciplines:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Psychology
  • Speech Pathology

You will lead a small team in delivering and implementing the NDIS ECEI approach within your contracted area. Ensuring that a high quality of service is provided to children and their families, you will build effective relationships with key stakeholders including children’s services providers, as well as work collaboratively with other teams within the Brotherhood of St Laurence.   

A specialist in allied health or early childhood education, you have a true passion for delivering children’s services and are well regarded by your peers. You have experience in leading teams to achieve organisational outcomes, and your friendly and cooperative nature allows you to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.  Don’t miss out on this outstanding opportunity at the centre of some of the biggest changes in the disability sector in Australia’s history!
