About the role
Berry Street are looking for three outstanding people to join our recently restructured Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO. These are exceptional opportunities to join an influential child and family services organisation. We’ll need energetic and accomplished Executive Directors of Services, Organisational Effectiveness and People & Culture. All three of you will play key roles in leading our dynamic organisation and will come on board at the right time, to help shape our strategic plan and direction for the next exciting phase of our growth.
Executive Director Services
You will hold overall responsibility for our clientservices across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Leading a team of operational Directors, you will ensure that children and families accessing our services receive the best quality support possible, whilst driving innovation and evidence-based practice across our services. You will also support a newly created Director of Education to continue to raise the profile of education as one of Berry Street’s key interventions – a critical and integral

Executive Director Organisational Effectiveness
You will lead strategic, transformational and operational improvement across our services
and the organisation as a whole. You will drive our strategy and business planning activities and
lead a multidisciplinary team that supports the delivery and development of high quality services
and programs. You will oversee continuous improvement of systems and tools that enable the organisation to monitor, evaluate and learn from our work, with a strong focus on capturing data and using it to develop a suite of evidence-based services. Ref:BSTeoe0518
Executive Director People and Culture
You will lead our strategic, customer-focused human resources function, partnering with the organisation’s leaders to champion our culture and values. Your focus will be on developing the members of our team of over 1300 staff, creating exciting career pathways and fostering a community of high performance, innovation, and passion. You will also oversee strategic development of our external training program for professionals working in the child, family and education sectors. Ref: BSTepc0518

If you are a strategic thinker who has proven experience in contributing to an Executive Leadership Team and operating at Board level, we want to hear from you. Tertiary qualified, you will possess analytical skills and an ability to be innovative and solution-focused in our complex and rapidly changing external environment. You will enjoy striking the balance between thinking creatively and having an eye for detail, whilst offering an inspiring coaching approach to the talented people you’ll lead. Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders means excellent interpersonal, communication and representation skills are essential to be successful in these roles.
