About the role

After Hours Outreach Case Manager – Family Violence
Part Time: 4pm – 10pm (7 shifts per fortnight)

We have an opportunity for an experienced Outreach Case Manager to join our Family Violence Team with a desire to support women and children experiencing homelessness and/or family violence. The position is part time, 7 shifts per fortnight from 4pm – 10pm. You will be well supported by a committed, collaborative team of workers with an emphasis on a family focus framework informed by trauma and attachment theories.

A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare or equivalent is required. Ideally applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in managing a case load according to a case management framework with specific e
exit plan options, employment and social inclusion strategies
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team delivering outcomes
• Knowledge of the Family Violence Protection Act and the Common Risk Assessment Framework and
a sound understanding of homelessness, family violence and the effects it has on women and
children
• High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

A Police check, a Working with Children Check and a current driver’s license are required. Salary will be negotiated in accordance with experience. Salary packaging is also available.
