Your Role

As the go-to data person in our Fundraising Group, your role will involve:
• Extracting, manipulating, and interpreting data to be translated into clear insights
• Providing insights on program and donor behaviour that will influence our fundraising strategies and results
• Analysing data in areas such as gross and net lifetime value, channel analysis, RFV analysis, attrition performance and predictive income modelling, which help us make sound business decisions
• Monitoring and evaluating market trends and activities (market insights, product performance, Supporter/Donor and competitor intelligence)
• Providing analysis and recommendations to identify areas where Caritas Australia can be developed to improve its financial sustainability
• Driving financial and non-financial reports for Engagement & Sustainability teams
• Managing external data suppliers on the delivery of regular reports and tools
• Leading post-campaign analysis including producing reports that show key metrics and help for future activities

Your Capabilities

You will thrive in this role as a Marketing Insights Analyst if you:
• Have extensive experience in Marketing Analysis or related Business Analysis experience
• Have a deep understanding of Direct Marketing techniques and data-driven Marketing Strategies
• Are experienced using a range of software and platforms including Analysis Services, SharePoint, Salesforce, Excel VBA, Reporting services, and PowerPivot and modelling techniques such as: Regression models and Data Mining Techniques
• Are able to clearly communicate information, verbally and written, to a wide audience with different stakeholder interests from the CEO to managers across teams
• Have highly developed strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Are an excellent communicator with strong influencing and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of and commitment to work within the Catholic ethos
