About the organisation

Organisation Name : Paul Ramsay Foundation (via People for Purpose)
The Paul Ramsay Foundation is a private foundation, committed to identifying the root causes of disadvantage and implementing strategic solutions to empower Australian communities.

About the role

Contribute to systemic change across health and education
• Be part of this reputable, significant and growing Foundation
• Use your exceptional project, program and grant management experience

Established as a private ancillary fund by the late Paul Ramsay AO, the Paul Ramsay Foundation (PRF) is in a growth phase and is looking to significantly refine its strategies across both health and education. PRF will continue to evolve, with a commitment to building an organisation that is strategic in its thinking. It will be guided by the principles of being flexible, deliberate, practical, and innovative and evidence based, to ensure the successful development and execution of its strategy.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual committed to excellence to contribute to the Foundation’s grants, projects or programs. This role requires excellent analytical and writing skills, high-level grant management skills, strong collaboration and influencing skills, and an understanding of monitoring and evaluation. You must have the ability to work seamlessly across strategic, substantive, and administrative aspects of the role. The focus for this role is the management of projects across portfolios with a specific focus on education projects in the early childhood, teaching quality and transitions focus areas.

With excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to produce quality, evidence-informed board reports and a range of materials for partners on learning and implementation. You must be comfortable balancing the demands related to multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Working to support the Executive Team, you will be responsible for successfully managing program/project activities through the complete life cycle initiation, through due diligence to implementation and evaluation. You will be responsible for reporting on the performance of grant investments, and committed to continuously improving the Foundation’s projects and programs and its overarching giving strategy.

You will have extensive and proven experience in the social change sector or working across systems change and be capable of implementing complex collaborative multi-stakeholder projects with demonstrable outcomes. Reporting to the General Manager and working with the Executive Team, you will be capable of working autonomously, efficiently and diplomatically, but also be comfortable with uncertainty and working as part of a small, committed team.

This role is full time, based in St. Leonards and will require some interstate travel and after-hours networking.
