SVA’s Strategy & Advocacy team support SVA to achieve its mission by improving SVA’s practical knowledge about reducing disadvantage. Our Policy and Advocacy work drives SVA’s systems change agenda taking SVA’s perspectives and using them to influence government policy and sector practice to become more effective and reduce disadvantage. Strategy implementation supports the delivery of SVA’s 2020 Strategy.

SVA has a rewarding opportunity for a Project Officer to support the delivery of business planning, reporting and learning processes for SVA. Working collaboratively with all SVA Business Units, key elements of the position include collecting data and compiling the Business Plan and quarterly reports, co-design and supporting the facilitation of events related to the SVA business cycle, collecting, aggregating and analysing internal monitoring and evaluation data, and supporting the SVA Executive Committee meeting cycle.

Who you are
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a proven ability to engage with stakeholders in compiling and tracking information and resources for key deliverables. We are seeking previous administration and reporting (e.g. internal, management and board) experience combined with an applied knowledge of project management principles. To be successful in this role you will be skilled in prioritising and meeting deadlines and a willing learner able to work across a wide variety of activity. This unique role provides exposure to an interesting and rewarding scope of work addressing disadvantage in Australia.
