About the role

  • Senior Grants Coordinator Reports to: Client Relations Manager
  • Engagement: 37.5 hours (5 days) per week
  • Location: North Sydney

 

About Good2Give

An opportunity has arisen within our Client Relations Team; specifically within the team which advises on and administers best practice Corporate Grants Programs. Our services in this area include program development, management, administration, technology solutions and reporting supported by clear governance and auditing. The Senior Grants Coordinator role provides support and oversight to all aspects of the Grants process including applications, validations and investigating questions which the charity applicants or corporate clients may have. Working closely with the Client Relations Manager, who specialises in Corporate Grants Programs, you will deliver exceptional service with a close attention to detail in order to ensure Good2Give’s service remains the leading choice for many companies. You will also form an important part of the wider Client and Charity Relations Team at Good2Give who are working strategically with clients and bring a wealth of experience across various community investment programs. We are looking for someone who is excited about working in the ‘giving’ space and who is interested in working with both companies and community organisations.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Work in partnership with the Client Relations Manager by:

• Managing key client relationships and Corporate Grants Programs

• Actively seeking to identify and improve service efficiencies and business   processes

• Conducting analysis of the performance of various Grants Programs

• Helping to identify and qualify new business opportunities for the Grants channel in collaboration with other service areas

• Supporting the nurturing and closing of client opportunities for the Grants channel in collaboration with other service areas

• Overseeing the management of the Grants administration resource/s

• Developing and improving processes to deliver program results on time

• Coordinating administrative aspects of existing Good2Give clients

• Overseeing the validation of applications

• Managing Grants data and updates due to application status changes

• Investigating and ensuring the timely response to Grants enquiries from applicants, recipients and clients

• Identifying issues and troubleshooting them in collaboration with partners on behalf of clients and applicants

• Working with the administration resource to ensure correct extraction and delivery of grants reports

• Actioning relevant client application approvals

• Working with the Good2Give Finance Team to initiate EFT grants distribution

 

Requirements and Attributes

• Process and outcome driven

• Highly organised with keen attention to detail

• Customer service minded

• Strong administrative skills

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

• High level of competence with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Salesforce and other workflow platforms

• Ability to work under pressure and organise priorities to meet deadlines

• A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, but also as part of a team

• Strong problems solving approach including ability to frame questions and brainstorm solutions

• Work collegially and courteously with fellow staff

• Flexibility with availability for peaks in project lifecycle

• To represent Good2Give in a professional and courteous manner at all times

• Prior knowledge and experience with the administration and execution of Grants Programs preferred (but not essential)

• An interest in the charitable sector
