Mental Health Australia has an opportunity for a passionate Administration and Project Officer to join their team in Canberra on a full-time basis.

In this role you will be responsible for providing administration and project support to mental health consumers and carers engaged in Mental Health Australia or Mental Health Australia auspiced activities, particularly the National Mental Health Consumer & Carer Forum (NMHCCF) and National Register.

To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated experience in providing administration and project support requiring a high degree of judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity. You will also have strong secretariat experience, including providing meeting support, organising travel arrangements, managing correspondence, keeping meeting records (eg. preparing minutes) and managing telephone and email enquiries.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to liaise and work collaboratively with a wide range of diverse stakeholders to facilitate effective outcomes.

Equally, you will be highly organised and confident in your ability to manage numerous tasks in order to ensure deadlines are met. Excellent computer skills are essential.
