About the role

Occupying a key leadership role in the NSW social services sector, the Chief Executive Officer will lead the next chapter of the organisation’s critical work that seeks to help alleviate inequality. Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive will be a central voice and key representative across the health and community services sector to drive positive social impact.

Representing policy priorities to government and continuing to provide leadership and support to the sector, the Chief Executive will have a demonstrated capability to exercise strategic influence on the issues and concerns of importance. An analytical thinker, pragmatic and influential, s/he will have a demonstrated history of strategically and actively creating partnerships, advocacy and the ability to synthesise policy.

The successful candidate will be a contemporary executive with a track record of successful leadership and relationship management. With excellent knowledge of sector issues and strong networks, you will be astute in navigating stakeholders. Equipped with energy to positively impact the community, you will have superior negotiation skills, highly developed advocacy capability and exceptional communication.
