Catholic Professional Standards Ltd (CPSL) was formed in response to the findings of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. CPSL is a new organisation, established by, and operating from, the Catholic Church in Australia. CPSL’s role is to develop National Catholic Safeguarding Standards, audit compliance with these Standards and provide education and training with respect to the Standards.

Communications and Media Manager
Part-time (0.8FTE negotiable)

Catholic Professional Standards Ltd (CPSL) has a unique opportunity to join a small and professional team committed to fostering a nationally consistent culture of safety and care for children and vulnerable adults who come into contact with the Catholic Church.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Media and Communications Manager will be responsible for the implementation of CPSL’s communications and media strategy, ensuring all communications are effective and consistent and convey the organisation’s key messaging as well as the development of CPSL’s brand, publications and online presence.
Qualifications, skills & experience
To be successful in this role, you will enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment where you can draw on your skills and expertise including:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in media and communications
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience working in a not-for-profit
• Knowledge of issues relating to child protection and/or safeguarding
