About the Role

Reporting to the Unaccompanied Humanitarian Programme (UHM) Team Leader, the Community Support Worker will support young people to build their independence and living skills. The Programme requires Community Support Workers to provide day to day care for young people through a rostered model who are living in the community. These young people reside in the cities of Dandenong and Wyndham

The successful applicants will be independent workers capable of setting and keeping to timelines. They will also have:

•Demonstrated understanding of the issues facing, and experience working with, young people and their families who are from multicultural backgrounds.
•Proven ability to engage with young people.
•Experience in working as part of a team
•Experience and or an understanding of young people with a disability.
